About Us
The Connections Lab is committed to providing seamless research-to-practice content and processes for school psychologists and teachers. This is so research informs clinical practice while clinical practice equally informs the advancement of research and remains relevant. We strive to achieve our objective by developing and evaluating innovative educational practices and models, using open science practices, and studying the implementation of innovation in classrooms.
New this year, we will be focusing on:
Improving the Credibility of School, Clinical, and Counselling Psychology Practices
Exploring the construct of credible practices
Create a consultation textbook entitled, “Credible Consultation”
Developing improved clinical research designs and methods
Developing and implementing a forensic meta-science approach to clinical research
Exploring robustness of interventions as a research construct
Creating a seamless scientist-practitioner model of practice
